MUSIC, my heart, my soul.

If you know me, you know that I love music. I listen to multiple albums a day. I found it funny that I have yet to make it through the whole album "The Ecstatic" by Mos Def front to back like I thought I would, but there are surely multiple songs I thoroughly enjoy. For one, "The Auditorium" which I happen to be listening as I type this, along with Life in Marvelous Times, The Embassy, Pistola, The Tournament all make me love Mos Def as an artist. You should definitely listen to this dude, he's forreal.

Starting Trends

As I try to be more appreciative of my day, I feel like I should try to say at least one positive thing about my day, everyday. This trend might not stay on here, but its something I'm still going to strive for. Today was March 9th, 2011. In the city of Atlanta, Georgia, it poured. It was wet and grey all day. Also, my parents stumbled upon some messages between me and one of my best friends, and found a lot of explicit things. It wasn't the greatest of days, but it was a good day. I saw my ex, and her best friend and went up to my old high school to catch the teachers I couldn't find yesterday. I had a talk with one of my old teachers, Ms. Glomb, who I honestly gave hell in high school. From the way we talked, and what she told me, she was proud of the way I have matured in a year. Although I loved hanging out with my friends, I count that as the shining moment of my day. I thank her. My goal to mature seems like a work in progress, progress that is noticeable.

Genesis

This is my first post to my blog. I created this blog to have a means of seriously venting all of my emotions, but on something a lot less casual as Twitter. I doubt a lot of people will see this, and that is probably for the better. I'm not trying to get a lot of traffic on here because I do not want drama stemming from what I say on here. This is the product of my thoughts, the product of my emotions. I can guarantee you that something I blog will eventually offend someone. If you are offended, there are two easy and simple options. #1 take the time out to respond to what I say, rub my name through the mud, "get back at me", etc. Or #2 be mature and click the "x" to close this page on your browser and hopefully come back on a later date. I hope everyone, if anyone, enjoys reading what I have to say, and enjoys tampering through thoughts I usually won't express. I'm an open book, just waiting to be read. Enjoy.
